Ferran Torres appears to be facing an uncertain future at Barcelona, with the club reportedly willing to listen to offers for the Spain star this summer.
According to ESPN, Barcelona are willing to sell Ferran in a bid to shake up their attack ahead of next season.
Torres is contracted to Barcelona until 2027 but there’s been no word on an extension, meaning a big decision has to be made on his future this summer.
Ferran has always made it clear he wants to stay but has hit a real drought in front of
goal after a good start to the season and hasn’t scored since the end of January against Elche.
A ‘source’ has told ESPN that the “ideal scenario” for next season would be to have Julian Alvarez as the club’s first choice striker and Robert Lewandowski as his back-up.
Barca also want Marcus Rashford (or another winger) to act as back-up to Lamine Yamal and Raphinha, meaning there’s no room for Ferran.
The feeling is that selling Torres could help Barcelona shake-up their attack as they continue to explore ways to sign Alvarez, or an alternative, and keep hold of Rashford.
