As the Buccaneers get set to take on the Atlanta Falcons at home under the lights following their loss to the New Orleans Saints last week, we here at Bucs Nation will dive into some picks and predictions for Tampa Bay’s big Week 15 matchup against an NFC South opponent.
Check it all out below.
Predictions
Offense
Tampa Bay still can’t seem to figure things out offensively. It appears that they will be getting Mike Evans and Jalen McMillan back for this contest, however, look for the Bucs to focus on getting their
run game going against a Falcons defense that has not played the run very well this season. With running back Bucky Irving now looking to be running at full speed since his return from injury, Tampa Bay should see a boost in the run game against a team giving up 131 yards per game on average. Look for the Bucs to rush for nearly 150 yards on the ground against Atlanta.
Defense
Ya know. Tampa Bay just doesn’t do well against Atlanta quarterback Kirk Cousins. For whatever reason that may be, they are just no bueno against him. They will face him again Thursday night, in a game where we may see another “You like that?!” kind of performance. Unfortunately, the Bucs may allow Cousins to match his season touchdown total of three passing touchdowns as the veteran scorches the Buccaneers defense yet again.
