While the NFL league year brings in the start of NFL free agency, the reality is that free agents come and go all the time in the NFL, especially with the Cleveland Browns. GM Andrew Berry is constantly churning the bottom of the roster, looking for ways to improve the team. The next big time to do that will be at the 2026 NFL draft later this week, but veterans are still on the market.
Most expect the Browns to select a wide receiver and offensive tackle early in this year’s draft, given the dire
needs on offense, but a “surprise” is also very possible.
With just days to go until the draft, Berry is also bringing in two veterans on offense for workouts. First came a report that center Joe Michalski would be in Berea:
Michalski was undrafted last season and signed by the Denver Broncos, spending the season on their practice squad.
Second, RB Sincere McCormick was reportedly in town for a workout during Cleveland’s offseason program:
McCormock was undrafted in 2022 and has bounced around between a number of teams since then. The 5’9” running back played in five NFL games, all in 2024 with the Las Vegas Raiders, with 39 rushes for 183 yards and six receptions for 29 yards.
