Things are going from bad to worse for the Arizona Cardinals as Mike LaFleur announced that left tackle Paris Johnson Jr. is once again out for the season, this time with a torn bicep.
Paris is done after only four games in 2026, where before he had 17 games, 14 games, and 12 games in his first three seasons.
Now, in his fourth season, the Cardinals will have some tough
decisions to make.
Paris has been fine, but he has not achieved the level of success fans and the team had hoped for after being drafted in 2023.
He also cannot stay healthy and has not been what people would define as a true franchise left tackle.
So, with all that has happened, will the Cardinals look to add a new left tackle in the 2027 offseason, or will they roll back with PJJ?
No matter what the thought is of Paris through his time, he is still the best option on the roster and it is not particularly close to play left tackle for a team who has massive questions on the offensive line.
Get well soon, Paris.
