One of the biggest combat spectacles of the year will finally unfold later tonight (Fri., Dec. 19, 2025) LIVE on Netflix from inside Kaseya Centa in Miami, Florida, as social media superstar Jake Paul
takes a massive step up against former Heavyweight boxing champion Anthony Joshua.
This fight wasn’t supposed to happen. Gervonta Davis was supposed to be the boxer opposite Paul in his second major Netflix event, but another set of domestic violence allegations derailed that plan and delayed the event while Paul scrambled to find a replacement opponent. Because of all the chaos, Paul ended up in the ring versus his most dangerous opponent yet, a much bigger champion not far removed from his peak.
The lead up to the bout has been less personal and more weird than other Paul contests, leaving fans unsure of what exactly to expect when both men enter the ring later tonight.
In addition, Most Valuable Promotions (MVP) and Netflix have stacked a solid card around Paul vs. Joshua. In the co-main event, one of the most talented female boxers alive Alycia Baumgardner (16-1) will square off versus aggressive underdog Leila Beaudoin (13-1) in a Unified Super Featherweight title fight. For UFC fans, the other big appeal is Tyron Woodley vs. Anderson Silva, a super fight between two champions of generations past.
Before the main card actions gets underway starting at 8 p.m. ET LIVE on Netflix, the “Prelims” undercard for “Paul vs. Joshua” will air LIVE and FREE in the above video player beginning at 4:45 p.m. ET.
The “Prelims” undercard will feature the below matchups:
