WWE made a huge deal about six different brands being represented in a battle royal to find the next challenger for Kelani Jordan’s NXT women’s championship. Wrestlers from NXT, Raw, SmackDown, AAA, Evolve, and even TNA showed up to the party.
Only one could emerge from the pack of 20, booking their ticket to Halloween Havoc on Sat., Oct. 31, 2026, on The CW.
You’ll never guess what brand they represent.
That’s right, NXT.
Well, it looked like AAA but that was before the big swerve of the match.
It was
your typical battle royal — some stories were advanced, like Izzi Dame and Zaria at each other’s threats, Reina Volcan being nearly impossible to handle, and Indi Hartwell and Xia Brookside fighting over the TNA Knockouts championship — but the finish is where the money was. It appeared to come down to Kali Armstrong and Lizzy Rain, with the former getting the better of an extended exchange on the apron.
She tried to celebrate in the ring but was pushed out by who appeared to be Lady Shani but was ultimately revealed to be none other than Wren Sinclair:
The disguise was effective, even if it was entirely unnecessary. This adds an interesting dynamic to the main event picture in the women’s division, as Sinclair is still close to Kendal Grey, who is off in therapy trying to find herself as she recovers from losing that very title to Jordan.
Sinclair out for revenge or herself?
Why not both?
