As one of her current nicknames reminds us, AEW’s Mercedes Moné currently holds nine different championships. And the AEW TBS & Owen Hart Tournament, CMLL Women’s World, EWA Women’s, RevPro Undisputed
Women’s (and Queen of Southside), Prime Time Wrestling Women’s, BestYa Women’s, and Discovery Scottish Women’s champ‘s made it clear she’s not satisfied. The CEO is aiming to break the accepted record of ten concurrently held titles set by Ultimo Dragon in late 1996-early 1997.

In fact, she wants to smash it…
Towards that end, Nine Belts Moné has lined up a title match… and another booking that’s teasing one.
Mercedes is headed to Denmark this weekend. No match announced yet in promotion of her Fri., Oct. 10 appearance at BODYSLAM Wrestling’s show in Greve, but the promotion mentions the possibility of her tying Ultimo Dragon in Europe.
She can definitely add a belt when she heads to Winnipeg for their Oct. 19 Rumble at the Burt show. There, Moné gets a shot at the WPW Women’s title currently held by TNA’s Jody Threat.
The former Sasha Banks will defend her CMLL belt in Mexico on Friday the 17th, and could still get a spot on the card for AEW’s WrestleDream PPV on Oct. 18 in St. Louis. Mercedes last defended the TBS title against Riho at All Out Toronto on Sept. 20.
We’ll see if we’re calling her 11 belts Moné by Halloween.
