AEW hosts Revolution on Sunday, March 15 from Los Angeles, California. The updated PPV card includes:
- AEW World Championship: MJF (c) vs. Hangman Page in Texas Death (If Hangman loses, then no more men’s world title shots in AEW ever again)
- AEW Women’s World Championship: Thekla (c) vs. Kris Statlander in 2 out of 3 falls
- AEW World Tag Team Championship: FTR (c) vs. Young Bucks
- AEW Continental Championship: Jon Moxley (c) vs. Konosuke Takeshita with no time limit
- AEW World Trios Championship: Kazuchika Okada, Kyle Fletcher, & Mark Davis (c) vs. “Speedball” Mike Bailey, Kevin Knight, & Mistico
- Toni Storm vs. Marina Shafir with everyone banned from ringside
- Swerve Strickland vs. Brody King
- Andrade El Idolo vs. Bandido
- AEW National Championship: Ricochet (c) defends in 21-man Blackjack Battle Royal (pre-show)
The new additions start with Thekla defending the women’s world title against Kris Statlander in 2 out of 3 falls. The former champ requested the stipulation, so she can kill the Toxic Spider twice. At first, Thekla scoffed at the challenger calling the shots. Thekla’s ego took over as she warmed up to the idea. The Toxic Spider is everything that Statlander fears.
The Callis Family won the trios titles with help from MJF. Since Hangman Page is preoccupied with the world title bout, he stepped aside from Jet Set Rodeo. In the cowboy’s place is an international superstar from CMLL. Mistico is teaming with JetSpeed.
Toni Storm wants to crack her ivory knuckles into the thick skull of Marina Shafir. Timeless is no dummy though. She knows the Death Riders would be milling around, so she demanded that everyone is banned from ringside.
Swerve Strickland and Brody King battle to determine who is the most dangerous man in AEW.
Bandido wanted a challenge for the PPV, so he will test himself against Andrade. El Idolo has a chip on his shoulder for this match to prove that he is the best Mexican wrestler in the world.
Bandido: I never imagined Andrade came out!! He said he doesn’t like to wrestle against mexas! But for me it is amazing!! I used to see him in our hometown when I was a child and he was a big inspiration for me to be a wrestler!!now having a match against him it’s a dream come true!! @AndradeElIdolo let’s make history and make la comarca lagunera and TODA LA RAZA proud of us!
Andrade: Yes, and it’s true, I hate hitting Mexicans, but this time is different! Do you know why I confronted you? Because people say @bandidowrestler was the best wrestler of 2025 and all that garbage. When my whole life in the business I’ve had great matches in every company, I’m in better shape than you. I’m better, I have more experience, I can handle all styles, and you know very well that I’m not MJF, and you know that I’m the best wrestler from the Laguna and the best Mexican wrestler today, and one of the best in the world. Reza por que tu sueño se cumpla!!
Ricochet is getting the shaft for Revolution. Not only is the AEW national champion on the pre-show, but Tony Khan set up him against ridiculous odds to retain the title. Ricochet has to defend the gold in a 21-man Blackjack Battle Royal. No other contestants have been revealed yet, however, Jack Perry would be a strong candidate just to get hands on Ricochet in their feud.
The PPV card could still add a few more matches. Darby Allin’s war with the Dogs isn’t going away anytime soon, especially now that David Finlay is All Elite. Penelope Ford is out, but MegaBad isn’t down. Megan Bayne and Lena Kross attacked the Babes of Wrath backstage. The twin towers defeated the Timeless Love Bombs on Collision, so they should be right back at the top to contend for the women’s tag titles. Tommaso Ciampa turned heel on Mark Briscoe, so that story needs a rematch. Big Boom AJ is expected to have a match at the event as well.
