Bayern Munich attacker Serge Gnabry is off to a great start and knows that even when the inevitable difficult stretches of the season happen, his team will be well-equipped.
“There are always phases when things are going better – and then the team spirit is even better. When things are going worse, the team spirit is still there – but it’s somehow a different feeling. We’ve started the season well. And what we’re doing right now feels very good, also with last year in mind. We’ve already taken a big
step forward, and that’s why everything is working out right now,” Gnabry told Abendzeitung (as captured by @iMiaSanMia). “Things are going well for me personally at the moment. That’s why I’m proud and satisfied. The most important thing is to keep going like this, not to let up, and to stay injury-free.”
Gnabry has looked good so far, but injuries and slumps have typically derailed Gnabry’s recent seasons. Certainly, the Germany international is looking to avoid those potential derailments this season.
Bayern Munich is in a very interesting part of its season, which is sandwiched between two international breaks. What should we expect? Will Vincent Kompany be able to manage it effectively? There is a lot to discuss.
