The Indianapolis Colts (2-4) travel to the Minnesota Vikings (5-0)(-6.5) at 1 PM EST to take on the undefeated NFC North’s leading club and try to turn around what’s quickly shaping up to be another lost season following longtime general manager Chris Ballard’s earlier week firing and their brutal home loss against the Tennessee Titans.
The game will be televised on CBS with Ian Eagle (play-by-play) and Ross Tucker (analyst), as well as streamed on NFL+, YouTubeTV, etc. Meanwhile for those tuning
in, the game will be aired on 93.5 and 107.5 the Fan and 97.1 Hank FM with Matt Taylor (play-by-play), Charles Arbuckle (analyst), and Larra Overton (sideline). For those SiriusXM subscribers, you can listen in nationally on Channel 813.
The Colts rank 14th in points scored, averaging 24.0 avg. points per game, while the defense allows the league’s 27th most points at 27.3 average points per game. Meanwhile, the Vikings rank 22nd in points scored, averaging 21.8 points per game, while their stingy defense surrenders the league’s fewest points at just 12.8 avg. ppg.
The key for the Colts will getting star running back Jonathan Taylor and the ground game going, and hoping that starting quarterback Daniel Jones can better regain his first-half of 2025 form—as he’s looked closer to the inconsistent quarterback that was a turnover-prone with the New York Giant—and a lot less like the breakout player the Colts signed after his brief stint with the Vikings.
The Vikings roof is permanently fixed, so no need for weather concerns—as it’s largely climate controlled.
The officiating unit is lead official Brad Rodgers and his crew.
Indianapolis leads the series against Minnesota 18-9-1 all-time, and the Vikings won their last matchup 21-13 at home against the Colts on November 3, 2024.
