What is the story about?
One thing that’s helpful in keeping things in perspective is remembering that there are several people currently hurtling toward the moon, and they were sent there on purpose. NC State alum Christina Koch is one of them, as part of the Artemis II crew that launched earlier this week.
The Artemis II mission is going to whip past the moon and come back, as a testing mission for a future moon landing. Still the Artemis mission is going to set some records, and take some really good pictures, as this
thing unfolds. These people are halfway to the moon!
