Week 3 of NFL action begins this evening with a primetime NFC matchup for Thursday Night Football on Prime. On the surface, there’s not a lot of intrigue here for Buffalo Bills fans, but we’ve brought back the featured open threads for readers because no one circles the football wagon like Buffalo Rumblers!
Buffalo does head to Lambeau Field later this season to take on the Packers in Week 14, so you can consider this a very early sneak preview if you’ve yet to watch the Pack in 2026. Green Bay is currently
in last place in the NFC West with a 1-1 record.
What’s there to say about the Packers? Quarterback Jordan Love continues to mystify those who watch the game of football closely, while many analysts and “experts” continue buying in on his talent and potential. So far, Love has only a lot to prove beyond any prior season’s statistical success. There’s also edge rusher Micah Parsons, whose trade last year tried to tilt the Earth’s axis, but instead an injury had other plans. As such, it’s fair to wonder if he’s now flying a bit under the radar.
As for the Falcons, they’re also in last place in their division (NFC South) and currently 0-2. There’s a lot to like about Atlanta, especially running back Bijan Robinson, tight end Kyle Pitts, and wide receiver Drake London, but so far they seem to be spoiling any matchup advantage their roster holds. Quarterback Michael Penix Jr. returns tonight, which may allow London to settle back down and into a groove. Always drama with a wide receiver, right?
Will the Packers continue to sputter? Will the Falcons pick up their first win of the 2026 NFL season? Hey, at least we don’t have to watch that Aaron Rodgers guy this evening. If you weren’t aware, this is the first of three consecutive primetime games for Atlanta. What could go wrong?
