The Seattle Seahawks get to spend the first round of the NFL playoffs relaxing a little bit, having earned a first round bye as the top seed in the NFC.
However, just because they have a bye does not mean
that the team is not working on getting ready for the divisional round of the playoffs, and getting ready for the divisional round means practicing. To that end, the Seahawks on Wednesday afternoon announced that they have designated 2025 second round pick and rookie tight end Elijah Arroyo to return to practice.
Arroyo is eligible to return after having spent the final four games of the regular season on injured reserve, and as such could play against whichever opponent winds up lined up across from Seattle.
Arroyo’s on field performance did not live up to the expectations of many fans during his rookie season, as he finished the year with just 179 yards and a single touchdown reception, but his return adds another potential weapon to a Seattle team that finished near the top of the league in points per game.
