Jeff Traylor’s squad has high hopes for the year, hoping to extend their bowl streak to six consecutive years and compete for the American Athletic Conference title.
Texas is in the unenviable position of needing a get-right game, while avoiding a letdown from Ohio State and looking ahead to the SEC opener next week. The target on their back continues to grow: now the top team in the nation, plus the normal pressure from every team on their schedule.
