Happy Friday one and all.
I hope you are having a great week and are excited for the weekend. It is a celebration at my house for my wife’s birthday, and then of course the start of 2025 NFL season.
The Arizona Cardinals open up relatively healthy against a New Orleans Saints team that was already thin, and now will be missing two starters in game one.
Let’s checkout the Friday injury report for both teams.
No one should be surprised to see Will Hernandez not ready to play, I think we were all a little more surprised to see him make the active roster. The big one to watch is Dante Stills, as he was limited in practice today, and the Cardinals newly improved defensive line needs the depth.
Meanwhile for the New Orleans Saints, they come in with both sides of their lines missing key pieces. Trevor Penning was penciled in to start next to rookie Kelvin Banks at left guard, he will be out for the game, while Chase Young, coming off the first year of his career playing every game, is out for this week.
This should be an interesting matchup for the Arizona Cardinals.
