It’s time to start preparing for the 2026 Syracuse Orange football season. We’re going through the roster to take a look at each Syracuse player as we get to know a lot of new faces for Year 3 of the Fran Brown Era.
Up next is…
Name: Wyatt Bowman
Position: Tight End
Year: Sophomore
Height: 6’4”
Weight: 235 lbs.
Hometown: Bethesda, MD
High School/Previous College: Georgetown Prep
2025 stats: Bowman appeared in four games during the 2025 campaign. He debuted on September 12 against Colgate before playing in the final
three games of the season. He has no recorded stats at this time.
2026 projections: Bowman enters the 2026 season looking to carve out a role in a crowded tight end room. The Bethesda native brings athleticism and size to this Orange roster, but he’ll likely be competing for opportunities as he continues to develop. If Bowman can translate the skills and versatility that made him a highly regarded football and lacrosse recruit, he could position himself for a larger role as the season progresses.
How’d he get here?: Bowman was committed to North Carolina for lacrosse before officially committing to Syracuse in June of 2024. For football, he fielded offers from the U.S. Air Force Academy, the University of Massachusetts, the University of Pennsylvania, The Ohio State, Boston College, the University of Delaware, and Towson University.
What’d recruiting sites say?: Three-star on 247Sports, On3, ESPN and Rivals
