What is the story about?
CHAMPAIGN, Il — A drive starting at Illinois’ own 34 and with just 13 seconds left in the half, Katin Houser just put a wrench in the gut of the UAB defense.
A 12 yard completion to Hudson Clement started it off. An incompletion followed, and with four seconds left, UAB called a timeout maybe in an attempt to ice any hail mary pass.
It didn’t matter for Houser, as he dropped back with all the time in the world and delivered a 54-yard bomb that bounced around and somehow landed in the arms of Ty Robinson.
The field goal was good giving Illinois a 21-13 lead going into halftime.
