Notre Dame is 5-0 and ranked No. 3 in the nation after taking care of business in Chapel Hill against the North Carolina Tar Heels. It turned out to be that annual ACC October weather game which we have all come to love (pauses for laugjing and head banging against walls) but the Irish were still able to leave as double-digit winners for the 15th game in a row.
This week the Irish welcome the Stanford Cardinal back to South Bend and are comically massive favorites for Saturday’s battle for the Legend’s
Trophy.Stanford looks to be about as bad of a Cardinal team as we’ve seen, but remember… this is still the team that played dirty as hell last year and ended Jeremiyah Love’s game (and Heisman campaign) early with a cheapshot.
