“The Machine” is back — No, not that one.
Red-hot knockout artist Malcolm Wellmaker is set to return to action for the third time this year, taking on Canada’s Serhiy Sidey at UFC 322 on Sat., Nov. 15,
2025, inside the iconic Madison Square Garden in New York City. Eurosport was first to report the matchup.

Wellmaker (10-0) has enjoyed a phenomenal rookie campaign and might already be the front-runner for UFC Rookie of the Year. The 31-year-old “Machine” made a statement in his debut at UFC Kansas City, flattening Cameron Saaiman in under two minutes to earn a $50,000 “Performance of the Night” bonus (watch highlights). He followed that up with another highlight-reel finish in his home state of Georgia, crushing a returning Kris Moutinho in less than three minutes (watch highlights).
A former full-time worker who quit his day job earlier this year to chase MMA glory, Wellmaker has been on a tear with an 80 percent finish rate, including six knockouts, five of which came in the opening round. His explosive style and fan-friendly personality have quickly made him one of the most talked-about prospects in the sport.

Meanwhile, Sidey (12-2) enters the bout riding a two-fight winning streak, most recently defeating Cameron Smotherman via unanimous decision at UFC Des Moines. The tough Canadian has yet to earn a finish inside the Octagon, but he’ll have a major opportunity to derail Wellmaker’s hype train when they throw down in “The Big Apple.”
