On Sunday morning, ACC Network announced their weekly preview show ACC Huddle would be heading to Miami for Week 4’s rivalry game between the Miami Hurricanes and Florida Gators.
This comes on the heels of ESPN’s announcement that College GameDay would be coming to Miami’s Coral Gables campus this week as well.
ACC Huddle hasn’t
been to Miami before, but Coral Gables is not a new location for an ACC Network production. The crew was on-site for Miami’s ProDay last spring, shining a spotlight on #1 overall NFL draft pick Cam Ward. And, they’ve done other visits and features on Miami since the ACC Network has been around.
There were other options for ACC Huddle this week, but with other teams stumbling, and Miami surging (and a couple of teams on the road for non-conference games, so not an ACC home site to visit), Coral Gables was the clear and obvious choice.
