Liam Rosenior has been announced as the new Chelsea head coach, but taking training yesterday and today, and still taking the game tomorrow will be interim head coach Calum McFarlane. The Chelsea U21 head coach got
an excellent result away to Manchester City on Sunday, making a key tactical change at half time; can he repeat or even better that feat tomorrow in the West London Derby?
Perhaps making his job easier will be the returns of Robert Sánchez, Marc Cucurella, and Moisés Caicedo, from injury and suspension, respectively, though their replacements (Filip Jörgensen, Malo Gusto, and Andrey Santos) performed excellently.
It’s an FA Cup weekend coming up, so there’s no reason not to roll with our best available. (Though Charlton Athletic away won’t be a cakewalk either, especially with the new head coach starting implement his own new ideas.)
