The Kentucky Wildcats are on the board again in the class of 2026 after landing a pledge from running back Isaiah Jackson, who was previously committed to the Louisville Cardinals.
Jackson made the announcement on Tuesday via Twitter.
Hailing from Mount Vernon, Kentucky, Jackson plays for Rockcastle High School and had been committed to Louisville since December 12, 2025. The 5-10, 180-pounder is ranked 125th among running backs and 12th in the state of Kentucky in the class of 2026 via Rivals. He
also played cornerback in high school.
As a senior this past season, Jackson ran for 1,172 yards and 14 touchdowns on 109 carries. He also caught 14 passes for 302 yards and six touchdowns. On defense, he logged 39 tackles, seven tackles for loss, three sacks, and two interceptions.
Jackson, who is expected to be a walk-on at Kentucky, held a scholarship offer from EKU and planned to be a walk-on at Louisville. He does, however, have a 3-star rating at Rivals, 247 Sports, and ESPN, so this is a high-quality pickup for a walk-on spot.
