Welcome to SB Nation Reacts, a survey of fans across the NFL. Throughout the year we ask questions of the most plugged-in Seahawks fans and fans across the country. Sign up here to participate in the weekly emailed surveys.
The Seattle Seahawks took a pass rush by committee approach to their Super Bowl winning 2025 season. There was no singularly dominant edge rusher, while the top interior defensive linemen both got their share of quarterback sacks. Last year’s sack leaders were a three-way tie among
Uchenna Nwosu, Leonard Williams, and Byron Murphy II, all of whom had seven. DeMarcus Lawrence was not too far behind with six. Does anyone know who was next highest? You guessed it: Drake Thomas with 3.5.
Seattle’s pass rush is largely the same this year, except Boye Mafe is gone and Dante Fowler Jr is in. We’re expecting a breakout year for the recently extended Derick Hall, but we’ve seen with Hall that pressures haven’t always led to high sack volume.
This week’s survey question is your prediction for which Seahawks will top the sack charts. “Tie” is not an option because that’s just boring, but “Other” is up to your imagination. Maybe we should’ve included Drake Thomas, Ernest Jones IV, Nick Emmanwori, or Devon Witherspoon in the mix.
