Mizzou’s 2027 recruiting class is starting to take shape as Eli Drinkwitz and the staff received a huge recruiting win late Thursday afternoon.
Four-star wide receiver Lawrence Britt has announced his commitment to Mizzou following a recent official visit. He announced his decision live on the 247Sports’ YouTube page and Missouri won the recruiting battle over Arkansas, Florida, and Iowa.
A native from Memphis, Britt is ranked as a Top-15 player in the state of Tennessee. Nationally, he ranks among
the Top 300 players in the country among all recruiting services. Britt was also a member of the 2026 Under Armour All-American Game.
Britt becomes the 15th overall commitment in Mizzou’s 2027 recruiting class and the first among the wide receiver position. Per 247Sports, he becomes Mizzou’s fifth four-star commitment.
