The SEC will begin a nine-game conference schedule for the first time ever beginning next season, and on Tuesday night, they announced each teams’ list of opponents for the 2026-2029 seasons. Over this
four-year span, teams will play each time at least twice, and visit every SEC venue.
Here’s the slate for the Aggies:
2026:
- vs Texas
- at LSU
- at Missouri
- vs Arkansas
- vs Kentucky
- vs Tennessee
- at Alabama
- at South Carolina
- at Oklahoma
2027
- at Texas
- vs LSU
- vs Missouri
- vs Georgia
- vs Ole Miss
- vs Vanderbilt
- at Auburn
- at Florida
- at Mississippi State
2028
- vs Texas
- at LSU
- at Missouri
- vs Alabama
- vs South Carolina
- vs Oklahoma
- at Arkansas
- at Kentucky
- at Tennessee
2029
- at Texas
- vs LSU
- vs Missouri
- vs Auburn
- vs Florida
- vs Mississippi State
- at Georgia
- at Ole Miss
- at Vanderbilt
At long last, Texas A&M will finally host Georgia (2027) and play at Kentucky (2028), both firsts despite the Aggies currently playing their 14th season in the conference. It underscores what an improvement this new schedule will be, going from the old model of seven permanent opponents and one rotating opponent to only three permanent opponents and SIX rotating opponents. Despite the SEC being as large as ever, it will feel more like an actual conference than it has in quite some time.
Unfortunately if you’re looking for specific dates to plan some road trips to these games, you’ll have to wait a bit longer, as dates for the 2026 schedule won’t be released until December.
