What is the story about?
I’m
a man that will go far Fly the moon and reach for the stars With my Dots and head held high Got to pass the test first time, yeah
- Husky Women’s Basketball has been closing in on the end of the regular season with the dangerous “in good shape” status. The Dawgs are “in good shape” to make the NCAA Tournament as long as they don’t suffer any big letdowns. Sunday’s win over Oregon was a big step toward turning “in good shape” into “lock” status. Sayvia Sellers scored 29 points and the Huskies made enough FTs to hold on for the victory over the Ducks. The win secured a first-round bye in the Big 10 Tournament.
- The Huskies have stood out at the NFL Draft Combine over the last several days. Tacario Davis and Ephesians Prysock both jumped off the page in all their physical testing. Over the weekend, OT Carver Willis did much the same. Willis ran a 5.12 40 yard dash, which differentiated him from many other offensive linemen and might give him a longer look at tackle rather than an interior OL position.
- 247Sports has been the gold standard in recruiting news for several years. Lately, On3/Rivals has made a bid to challenge them with several hires from the recruiting analyst community. Greg Biggins has a post for On3 on the top 10 uncommitted QB recruits in the West and Washington is involved in some of the key names to watch.
- Husky Softball returned to California after a tough Mary Nutter Classic with an easier slate of opponents. The Huskies got back on track with five straight dominant wins. Across the whole weekend, the Dawgs never had to play beyond the fifth inning. The Huskies closed the weekend with a shutout against Cal Poly. They will make their season debut at Husky Softball Stadium on Tuesday against Seattle U.
