Welcome to SB Nation Reacts, a survey of fans across the NFL. Throughout the year we ask questions of the most plugged-in Jaguars fans and fans across the country.
Jaguars fans — Which AFC team is the team’s biggest threat this season?
Here’s a look at the conference standings through eight weeks.
- No. 1 seed: Buffalo Bills (6-1)
- No. 2 seed: Denver Broncos (6-2)
- No. 3 seed: Pittsburgh Steelers (6-2)
- No. 4 seed: Jacksonville Jaguars (5-2)
- No. 5 seed: Kansas City Chiefs (5-2)
- No. 6 seed: Cincinnati Bengals (5-2)
- No. 7 seed: New England Patriots (5-3)
In his career, Trevor Lawrence has winning records against the Steelers (1-0) and Patriots (2-1), and he’s split his matchups with the Bills (2-2). He has a 1-3 record against each of the Broncos, Bengals,
and Chiefs.
New England doesn’t seem like too much of a threat. They already got whooped by 29 points in Jacksonville earlier this season, and it’d be a surprise for them to win the AFC East title over Buffalo (thus gaining home-field advantage in the playoffs over the likely AFC South champion Jaguars).
