World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns has a big title defense this Saturday at Backlash against his cousin Jacob Fatu. As for when fans will see the Tribal Chief next? Well, they won’t have to wait long.
Reigns is scheduled to appear on Raw two nights later when WWE visits Thompson-Boling Arena in Knoxville, Tennessee.
After winning the title at WrestleMania 42, Reigns addressed criticism of his part-time schedule, saying, “All this part-time crap? We’re gonna fix that. Y’all better make some room
because y’all gonna see my ass all summer.”
According to WWE’s website, Reigns is also advertised for Raw on May 18 and May 25. After that, he is not listed on promotional material again until Night of Champions in Saudi Arabia on June 27.
Fightful and POST Wrestling have reported that Reigns was pulled from shows previously advertised in June.
WWE begins a European tour on May 28 in Liverpool for a live event, followed by a stop in Barcelona, Spain, the next night for SmackDown. Two nights later, WWE will hold its first premium live event in Italy, aptly titled Clash In Italy.
WWE returns to the States on June 12 for SmackDown. Raw heads to Baltimore on June 15, and then it’s back across the pond as WWE rolls through Europe again ahead of Night of Champions.
