Welcome back. Feeling better after a much-needed bye week? Good. Glad to hear it. Have a scone. Get some breakfast. You’ve got time because the Texans have a rare afternoon game. They’re off in La La Land to take on the Los Angeles Chargers.
When last we left these two teams, the Texans had stormed back in the second half of the 2025 AFC Wild Card Round to complete one of the most thorough butt-kickings in the franchise’s admittedly limited playoff history.
And this as-yet unwinfeated Chargers team
is nowhere near the caliber that the Texans played against.
This is what is known by good teams as a good tune up from the bye week to get back to full strength. For other teams this is a trap game. Which category will the Texans fall into? We’ll find out soon enough.
But will you find out at home or at the nearby sports bar? For that, we can only consult 506 Sports for clarity.
