The Philadelphia Eagles signed tight end Eli Stowers, their second-round pick (No. 54 overall) in the 2026 NFL Draft, to his standard four-year rookie contract.
This news is according to an official team announcement on Monday afternoon.
Stowers is the sixth Eagles 2026 draft pick to sign his rookie deal so far. The team previously had Makai Lemon (whose contract includes a fifth-year team option by virtue of him being a first-round pick), Cole Payton, Micah Morris, Cole Wisniewski, Uar Bernard, and
Keyshawn James-Newby put pen to paper during the team’s rookie minicamp at the Jefferson Health Training Complex two weeks ago.
And so it’s just third-round pick Markel Bell who remains unsigned. He’ll still be able to participate in the Eagles’ spring workouts (including OTAs and mandatory minicamp) even if he does not sign his contract anytime soon. The real deadline for getting Bell under contract is by training camp, which doesn’t begin until sometime in late July. Still plenty of time for that to happen.
For now, it’s good to know the Eagles got some paperwork out of the way.
