What is the story about?
Trea Turner is not the only Phillie who has struggled offensively this season, but it does feel as though because of that fact that Turner has flown under the radar. He’s slashing just .234/.283/.345 through 41 games and has seen his defense take a step back from his rebounded form in 2025. Turner went 4-5 just five days ago but is 0-7 since and is hitting .182 in the month of May. Maybe a one-day reset due to illness will work the same wonders on him that it did for Alec Bohm. Maybe the Phillies
should call Elmo again.
