Here is a look at how the Las Vegas Raiders’ 2025 draft class fared in a 27-13 win over the Miami Dolphins in Week 1 and what to look for Sunday at the Los Angeles Chargers:
Ashton Jeanty:
The No. 6 overall draft pick played 73 percent of the snaps in Week 1. He averaged 77 percent play time as a rookie. He made a big impact. He had 29 touches on 68 offensive plays and accounted for 147 of the Raiders’ 290 scrimmage yards. He is a focal point of the offense.
Jack Bech:
The second-round pick logged the
third most snap totals of the Raiders’ receivers. He played 39 percent of the snaps in Week 1. He played more than seven times last season. Bech had three cathces for 23 yards and a touchdown against Miami. Like all of the Raiders’ receivers, Bech needs to find a way to produce more.
Darien Porter:
After beating rookies Jermod McCoy and Zeke Masses for the starting job, the third-round pick played every snap in Week 1 until he left with an injured foot.
Caleb Rogers:
The third-round pick didn’t play on offense after losing a camp battle to Jackson Powers-Johnson at right guard. Rogers did play six plays on special teams.
Charles Grant:
The offensive lineman, taken in the third round, also only played six snaps on special teams.
Dont’e Thornton:
The wide receiver, taken in the fourth round, will be on the injured reserve for, at least, three more weeks.
Tonka Hemingway:
The fourth-round pick played 57 percent of the defensive snaps, the most of any defensive tackle and he played 12 snaps on special teams. He had four tackles (three assisted) against the Dolphins.
JJ Pegues:
The defensive tackle, taken in the sixth round, was inactive in Week 1, a healthy scratch. He was active in nine of 17 games as a rookie.
Cody Lindenberg:
The seventh-round pick was also a healthy scratch in Week 1. It was a bit of a surprise. He was active every games and was a core special teamer as a rookie.
