The Michigan Wolverines are 4-2 on the season and coming off a 31-13 loss to the USC Trojans. With Michigan’s 2025 season now halfway through, here’s a look at its results to this point.
- 34-17 win vs. New Mexico
- 24-13 loss at Oklahoma

- 30-27 win at Nebraska
- 24-10 win vs. Wisconsin

Michigan is currently unranked and 2-1 in Big Ten play. While the team can still play for a Big Ten Championship and make the College Football Playoff, their current trajectory doesn’t warrant a lot of optimism.
In this edition of SB Nation Reacts, we want you to grade Michigan’s season through six games.
Michigan’s been a middle-of-the-pack team thus far when looking at rankings. Michigan ranks No. 49 in total offense and No. 36 in total defense. Michigan’s greatest strength has been its rushing offense, ranking No. 19 in the nation. The Wolverines also rank No. 20 in rushing defense, but just gave up 224 rushing yards to USC.
How did you grade Michigan’s first six games? Will their remaining six provide more wins and a higher level of execution? Come back on Friday when we reveal the results of this survey.
