Mizzou Football returned with a 61-6 win over FCS opponent Central Arkansas on Thursday night at Faurot Field to jumpstart the 2025 season. Despite some concerns, there were some standout performances that led to an easy 1-0 start.
While it was against lesser competition — Beau Pribula looked the part of an SEC quarterback leading the Missouri program as their new QB1. His impressive outing tops the list of our first MV3 edition of the season.
- BEAU PRIBULA

In his Mizzou debut — Pribula carried the Missouri offense
with an impressive stat-line. He was 23-for-28 for 283 yards with two passing touchdowns and two rushing touchdowns. That hasn’t happened to a Mizzou quarterback since Drew Lock had two rush TDs and two pass TDs against Arkansas in 2018. A 190.6 QBR isn’t too shabby, either.
After backing up Drew Allar at Penn State, Pribula was able to unlock his full potential as a starter — at least for Week 1.
2. AHMAD HARDY

Cody Schrader led the SEC in rushing yards in 2023. Tyler Badie did so as well in 2021. Is sophomore Ahmad Hardy next in line under running backs coach Curtis Luper? The ULM transfer — after leading the Sun Belt in rushing yards last season— is off to a solid start in doing so. On 10 carries Hardy rushed for an even 100 yards with one touchdown with a long of 44 yards capping off an impressive debut. Having said that, the offensive line’s performance will need to improve in order for Hardy to consistently have success against better competition throughout the season.
3. DAMON WILSON

In a 61-6 victory, you would think a defensive player would have to be in consideration for the MV3 — and that belonged to Georgia DE transfer Damon Wilson. Looking for a change of scenery to start his Mizzou career — Wilson showed why he still has that five-star kind of talent that he’s capable of. He led the Tigers’ defense with two sacks on the night — which also is his career high in sacks.
Honorable Mentions: Marquis Johnson, Josiah Trotter, Jalen Catalon, Chris McClellan
