Welcome to SB Nation Reacts, a survey of fans across the NCAA. Throughout the year we ask questions of the most plugged-in Michigan fans and fans across the country. Sign up here to participate in the weekly emailed surveys.
In this edition of SB Nation Reacts, we are talking about the Michigan Wolverines’ offense.
Michigan’s coming off a game in which they rushed for 276 yards and passed for 86 in a 31-20 win over Michigan State. Michigan is currently 6-2 on the season and ranks No. 15 in the nation
in rushing offense and No. 101 in passing offense.
This week’s survey has two questions: How concerned are you about Michigan’s passing offense? And what should Michigan’s offensive approach be the rest of the season?
Michigan has two great running backs in Justice Haynes and Jordan Marshall, and if they can win games by relentlessly pounding the rock, then they should. However, at some point, a team will neutralize Michigan’s rushing attack, and it will boil down to whether Michigan quarterback Bryce Underwood and the passing game can carry the load. Which makes it all the more important for the passing game to start producing at a higher clip.
