Ronda Rousey has a professional admiration for Paddy Pimblett.
It appears the feeling is mutual based on comments from “The Baddy” during the UFC 324 media day earlier this year in Las Vegas. But “Rowdy” is taking it one step further and inviting the 31 year-old Scouser to join her under the Netflix MMA banner upon completion of his UFC contract.
“I think he’s got more potential than anyone else in the UFC and he should call me when his contract runs out,” Rousey said during her Gina Carano press conference
on Wednesday.
Pimblett (23-4) is currently ranked No. 6 at 155 pounds and coming off a lopsided decision loss to Justin Gaethje at UFC 324 earlier this year in “Sin City.” It’s unclear how many fights Pimblett has left on his existing contract or if “The Baddy” would even be interested in leaving UFC.
There’s also no telling if Netflix MMA will still be a thing by then.
Rousey is currently at war with UFC after the promotion made the unforgivable crime of turning down her comeback request. The best revenge would be a successful MMA card that sustains MVP’s relationship with Netflix and attracts big name talent for future events.
