Ferran Torres’ future is the talk of the town at Barcelona amid rumors that Paris Saint-Germain have serious interest and are ready to make an offer for the World Cup winner.
According to a fresh update from Mundo Deportivo’s Fernando Polo, Barça’s stance on the matter is clear: Ferran is not for sale, he is appreciated by the club and the coaching staff, and Barça would like to discuss a contract extension starting next month.
Barça would only consider a sale if Ferran himself requests a move and
PSG meet Barça’s asking price, which isn’t known yet. PSG manager Luis Enrique is keen on bringing in Ferran and the interest is serious, but only a move from Torres would convince Barça to sell.
The player is still on vacation after the World Cup and his camp have remained silent in the last few days despite the heavy rumors, but PSG would like to get a deal done sooner rather than later to get Torres in the squad as soon as he returns from his holiday.
