Brian Burns is the only New York Giants player named to the AP NFL All-Pro Team for the 2025 season. Burns was also recently voted to the Pro Bowl for the third time in his seven-year career. This is the first time he has been named All-Pro.
Burns set career highs in sacks (16.5), quarterback hits (31), tackles for loss (22), and forced fumbles (tied with three) while starting all 17 games.
Burns’ 16.5 sacks are tied with Jason Pierre-Paul (2011) for fourth-most in a single season by a Giants defender.
His 31 quarterback hits, meanwhile, are the most by any Giant since the statistic started being tracked in 2006.
Burns was second in the NFL in sacks to Myles Garrett of the Cleveland Browns, who broke the single-season record with 23.0. The previous record of 22.5 was shared by T.J. Watt and ex-Giant Hall of Famer Michael Strahan.
Burns is fifth in the NFL in sacks since 2019, with 71.5.
