In one world, Mizzou ended day two of the 2026 NFL Draft with only one selection. In this world, however, they’ve got four.
Trost became the fourth player to be selected on day two, going to the Los Angeles Rams with the 93rd overall pick. It’s a bit higher than many draft boards had him, suggesting the Rams see something in Trost to make him a big part of their future plans.
And why shouldn’t they? In his one season with Mizzou, Trost was a rock, earning First Team All-SEC honors, anchoring a line
that saw Ahmad Hardy break the single season rushing record. Not for nothing, Trost was also the highest graded tackle in all of college football last year according to Pro Football Focus.
Trost ended his journeyman career at Mizzou, but frequented Morgan State, Indiana State, and Wake Forest before ending up in Columbia. Now he’ll get a chance to make his NFL dreams come true in Hollywood.
