After dropping game one of the NLDS to the Dodgers, the Phillies find themselves in a near must win situation on Monday evening. Heading to Los Angeles trailing 0-2 in the series would be very close to a death
knell.
The Phillies will hand the ball to lefthander Jesus Luzardo. Luzardo had an overall good season, but in his bad games, he was VERY bad, and manager Rob Thomson needs to be ready with a quick hook if Luzardo shows any signs of early struggles.
The Dodgers counter with a lefty of their own in Blake Snell. Snell is a two-time Cy Young winner who spent a good chunk of the season on the Injured List, but has been very good when healthy.
