Barcelona and Al-Hilal are reportedly in negotiations over a permanent transfer for Joao Cancelo in the summer transfer window.
Cancelo has impressed back at Barcelona since re-joining in the winter window and both parties would like him to continue.
The Portugal international still has a year left to run on his contract and Al-Hilal had initially been hoping for a fee in the region of €10-15 million.
However, a new report claims that Al-Hilal are now potentially willing to accept a player swap instead.
There’s no word on which players could be used in such a deal, but it’s not likely to be a first-team regular.
Marc Casado and Raphinha have both previously been linked with moves to Saudi Arabia, but the Brazilian has made it clear he’s going nowhere this summer.
As for Casado, his future remains uncertain and it is thought he could move on after losing his place in the team.
