The picks are in, and star wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown is breaking down the 2026 Detroit Lions draft haul.
Over on his show, the St. Brown Podcast, St. Brown said he feels general manager Brad Holmes and company did a great job addressing holes in the roster.
“I feel like Blake (Miller) is exactly what we needed—a tackle that has that mean streak in him. I saw some of the highlights—putting dudes on their back, finishing guys,” he said. “I feel like him and Penei (Sewell) are going to be a sick
a** combo.”
St. Brown said Aidan Hutchinson’s probably thrilled about getting two Michigan guys—edge Derrick Moore and linebacker Jimmy Rolder.
“I’ve been waiting a long time for the Lions to draft a USC guy,” he said, referring to his alma mater.
The star receiver is also excited to meet Kendrick Law from Kentucky, the newest addition to the receiving corps.
“He looks like he plays hard. Jahmyr (Gibbs) said he was with him at Alabama for a very short stint. Excited to see him,” he said.

- Over on The Feed, user BtP_Drew brings attention to a 2027 mock draft from The Athletic’s Dane Brugler. Yes, you read that right. The comments seem mixed on whether a draft so far in advance holds any value, but Brugler mocks USC QB Jayden Maiava to the Lions … which is kind of funny, considering St. Brown’s comments in the video above.
- FOX 2’s Dan Miller went one-on-one with Brad Holmes shortly after the draft. You can check out the full eight-minute interview here:
