Professional wrestling is full of interesting athletes. The latest example is Juicy Finau.
MLW viewers will remember Finau as a member of the Jacob Fatu’s Samoan SWAT Team. In this case, SWAT stood for Samoans with a Tongan. That Tongan won the MLW tag titles with Lance Anoaʻi in 2023. Here is a clip off the 400+ pounder on a suicide dive.
The super heavyweight’s name crossed my timeline this week with FightBook MMA reporting news of Finau entering World Elite Sumo for a 12-man tournament on September
26 from Kaiser Permanente Arena in Santa Cruz, California. Finau has five years of experience in Greco-Roman and freestyle wrestling. This will be his first competitive sumo appearance.
Finau also stays active in other athletic endeavors. He is 2-0 in Power Slap and ranked #5 in the super heavyweight division.
