This post is basically an excuse for me to state that I believe Brock Bowers has a chance to go down as the most productive tight end in NFL history.
I have covered this league for 30 seasons and I do not state such things lightly. I not big on hyperbole, so I mean what I say.

That’s a short list and Bowers is already on his way. He
had a rookie record 112 catches in 2024. He had 64 grabs in 2025 despite missing five games due to injury.
There is no reason why Bowers can’t regularly put up 100-catch seasons during the rest of his career which will likely span the next decade or so. There have been a lot of unreal tight ends in this league, but Bowers has a real chance to go down as an all-time great.
