Now that Week 6 of the 2026 NFL season is in the books, it’s time for an incredibly meaningful and serious exercise: NFL Power Rankings! What differentiates these rankings from all others is that they’re THE only truly accurate ones in the entire universe. Hard to believe, I know. But it’s true. Let’s take a look at how all 32 teams stack up.
BLG’S WEEK 7 NFL POWER RANKINGS
– Kansas City Chiefs (Last Week: 1) – Kenneth Walker is the Chiefs’ 2024 Saquon Barkley.
– San Francisco 49ers (LW: 2) – Despite not being the only undefeated
team in the NFC, they’re clearly in a tier of their own. Maybe this is finally the year for Kyle Shanahan.
– Buffalo Bills (LW: 5) – Josh Allen is driving an offense averaging a league-high 33.3 offensive points per game. They’ve needed that production because their defense is allowing the fifth-most offensive points per game.
– Minnesota Vikings (LW: 6) – The Vikings return from their bye to host the Colts. 6-0 is within reach … but it does feel like their lackluster offense will catch up to them sooner than later.
– Chicago Bears (LW: 7) – With Caleb Williams back, the Bears are heating up in an ultra competitive NFC North.
– Seattle Seahawks (LW: 3) – Drew Lock was looking better than Sam Darnold is right now. When will Seattle have the guts to make the switch?
– Baltimore Ravens (LW: 4) – A loss to the Browns hurts but Lamar Jackson’s return positions this team well moving forward.
– Detroit Lions (LW: 10) – The Lions return from their bye week to host the resurgent Packers. Time for Detroit to show us how seriously (or not) they should be taken.
– Jacksonville Jaguars (LW: 9) – Travis Hunter’s historic performance was ruined by a close loss in London. The Jags will be OK but a win over Houston would’ve really given them a chokehold on the AFC South. Missed opportunity.
– Cincinnati Bengals (LW: 11) – The Bengals return from their bye week to play in Baltimore. Measuring stick game for Joe Burrow’s side.
– New England Patriots (LW: 12) – A.J. Brown mightily struggled in his first game back from injury. Probably gotta get your laughs in now before he rebounds.
– Los Angeles Rams (LW: 8) – Maybe the Rams aren’t going to be okay. I still think they will be. But they’re decreasing their margin for error in a tough division. And the panic seems to be there with some calls for Matthew Stafford to be benched.
– Las Vegas Raiders (LW: 13) – Three straight losses for the Raiders, although two only came by three points each. They’re a good but not great team, which is a massive upgrade on what they’ve been for a long time prior to this season.
– Carolina Panthers (LW: 16) – Bryce Young continues to ball and Chuba Hubbard continues to run over those in his path.
– Denver Broncos (LW: 15) – The Broncos have a Bo Nix problem. They’re capable of winning in spite of him … but that can only last for so long.
– Green Bay Packers (LW: 18) – Whereas it once looked like the Packers were cooked due to their offensive line issues, they’ve since turned it around.
– Dallas Cowboys (LW: 14) – The Cowboys are the favorites to win the NFC East at this point in time … but they’re allowing all their division rivals to hang around. Unserious behavior.
– Cleveland Browns (LW: 27) – The 4-2 Browns (-16) only have a slightly better point differential than the 1-5 Bucs (-19). Weird to think of Cleveland being a “lucky” team but their record is painting them to be better than they actually are. Still, they’re not a total joke, which is what almost everyone expected them to be.
– New Orleans Saints (LW: 21) – It felt like the Saints were due for a big performance after ownership publicly put pressure on the coaches and players to turn things around. We’ll see if they can actually keep it up.
– New York Giants (LW: 17) – The G-Men are making the right move by benching Jameis Winston in favor of J.J. McCarthy. The latter showed some promise (albeit in garbage time during a loss) last weekend. He offers more upside than Winston does.
– Pittsburgh Steelers (LW: 22) – The Stillers need OT to beat the Bucs but, hey, they’re 4-2. If the season ended today, which it doesn’t, they’d be the No. 7 seed in the AFC.
– Houston Texans (LW: 24) – Make that two straight wins for the Texans after an 0-4 start. With entering this week as 10.5-point home favorites against the Giants before playing the Bolts in Week 9, they could soon be back to .500.
– Atlanta Falcons (LW: 20) – The Falcons signed Andy Dalton, so, I’d say that’ll fix their problems.
– Philadelphia Eagles (LW: 19) – The 2026 season has been very tumultuous for the Eagles … both on and off the field. Their offense is terrible and their defense is underperforming relative to high expectations. With Jalen Hurts out for the season, it’s not easy to see things getting better for this group. It’s not like you can count on the coaching staff to maximize the talent they’re working with.
– Indianapolis Colts (LW: 23) – Chris Ballard was fired … five years after trading what turned out to be a first-round pick for Carson Wentz, who was coming off the worst season of his career. Better later than never, I suppose.
– Tampa Bay Buccaneers (LW: 25) – Baker Mayfield is back. We’ll see if that actually makes a positive difference for the Bucs, who have two big NFC South games coming up.
– New York Jets (LW: 26) – The Jets aren’t doing anything to be taken seriously.
– Arizona Cardinals (LW: 29) – With wins over the Rams and Chargers, the Cardinals apparently own Los Angeles. Only two wins away from hitting the over on their 2026 projected win total!
– Washington Commanders (LW: 28) – Dan Quinn is very much on the hot seat but the Commanders don’t appear to be making a coaching change during their bye.
– Tennessee Titans (LW: 31) – Robert Saleh is on the board with his first win as the Titans’ head coach. Can’t imagine many more are to follow.
– Los Angeles Chargers (LW: 30) – Bleak.
– Miami Dolphins (LW: 32) – The Dolphins return from their bye to play the Jets in North Jersey. Seems like a winnable game?
