This season’s Barcelona team is making an early case to become one of the most entertaining in club history, and if they add silverware to all that entertainment, especially the Champions League, they’ll have a real shot at entering the shortlist of greatest Barça teams of all time.
Achieving the rare combination of pure entertainment and trophies is what makes certain teams special, and Barça fans certainly have quite a few of them to choose from.
My all-time favorite Barça team is the 2010-11 side
that won La Liga and the Champions League under Pep Guardiola, and reached football nirvana in a way very few teams in history ever did.
The 2008-09 team from Pep’s first season is also up there, and Luis Enrique’s 2014-15 Treble winners with the ‘MSN’ trio will always have a special place in my heart as well.
