The Las Vegas Raiders’ offense, as a whole, is improved so far under first-season new head coach Klint Kubiakk.
However, the Raiders’ struggles on the ground from last year and spilled over into this season.
The Raiders are last in the NFL in rushing. They are averaging 2.99 yards per carry and that’s their lowest per carry average through the first five games ever for the franchises and one of the worst in the NFL in the past decade per the Associated Press.
Also starting running back Ashton Jeanty’s struggles has extended beyond his rookie season. This is a discouraging stat from the Associated Press.
Whether it’s the blocking or Jeanty’s health this season, something needs to be figured out soon.
