WWE Hall of Famer Nikki Bella turned heel on this week’s (Nov. 10) episode of Raw, likely setting up a women’s world title feud with babyface champion Stephanie Vaquer.
Big E talked up Nikki’s heel turn
on the Raw Recap, pointing out that he doesn’t want to see Nikki Bella being nice and friendly to the other women in a support role in WWE. He wants to see the ruthless version of Bella who is chasing world titles, and now it looks like we’re gonna get it.
Nikki responded to Big E’s remarks on this week’s episode of The Nikki and Brie Show. Bella said it was nice for someone to finally give her the recognition she deserves for making such a big impact on women’s wrestling in WWE throughout her career, and she’s definitely not here to just put others over.
“He spoke a lot about my impact, and how our impact, Total Divas impact, and it’s not spoken enough about how many women there now came because of that. And he really went in on it. And it’s really nice, ’cause I feel like more people who have credibility are really starting to speak up for me…because I think at the end of the day, they all know how much I love this business, how much passion I have for wrestling. They know the work that I put in. It’s not like I come on here and always say like, oh when I had two days free, or I didn’t have my son, I flew to Orlando just to get in the ring for five hours to fly straight back. I don’t talk about all that stuff all the time.
…I truly love this business, and I want to give it my all. I really loved what Big E said because, yeah, I don’t need to just sit around and always put people over. I know what I can do now. I know what my worth is, and you’re gonna start to hear it a lot more. And so, you’ll wait for Monday for that. But what’s nice is I haven’t even said a word, and I love the recognition people are already giving.”
Bella said she will address WWE fans on next week’s episode of Raw in Madison Square Garden to explain why she turned on Vaquer. You probably already have a sense of the themes her explanation will touch on, based on what she said above about knowing her worth, and how too many people fail to appreciate her historical impact on the wrestling business.
Do you think Nikki Bella’s next world title run in WWE is imminent, or is Stephanie Vaquer the latest current star for Nikki to put over during her 2025 comeback? Give me your best guesses in the comments below, Cagesiders.
