Indiana women’s basketball is set to tip off the 2025-26 season on Wednesday against Lipscomb for the official debut of head coach Teri Moren’s new-look roster.
Moren, the most successful coach in program
history, is entering her 12th season in Bloomington and perhaps her most pivotal. She maintained the standard with another NCAA tournament appearance last season, the last for a few storied seniors like Chloe Moore-McNeil and Sydney Parrish. What came next was roster attrition unlike any seen before in the Moren era.
Indiana has largely transitioned smoothly between stars and rosters under Moren, but had to reload through the transfer portal this past offseason after large swaths of the 2024-25 group left through the transfer portal, including Yarden Garzon.
Now it’s time to see what it looks like in a game that counts.
Indiana Hoosiers vs Lipscomb Bison
- Game Time/Date: 7 p.m. ET on Tuesday, November 4
- Game Location: Assembly Hall in Bloomington, Indiana
- Streaming: Big Ten+
Predictions
It’s a very, very new roster in Bloomington. There’s plenty of lineups the staff could try out in live basketball and room to make some adjustments. We’ll just have to wait and see what shape that takes.
That being said, Indiana should take care of this one relatively early. These Hoosiers are still good enough to dispatch an opponent like these Bison with ease.
