With the Tennessee Titans trading back into the first round last night to pick Keldrick Faulk, they don’t have a second-round pick. Barring another trade, they won’t make a pick tonight until the 5th pick of the third round. It was a little surprising to see Mike Borgonzi trade up, but they didn’t lose any picks in the move. They just moved down in the third and fourth rounds.
Matt Miller of ESPN has put out a mock draft for rounds two and three this morning. He has the Titans going defense again
at pick 66 with Jake Golday, LB, Cincinnati. There was a lot of buzz that Tennessee loved Sonny Styles and would be willing to take him with the fourth pick. That obviously didn’t happen.
Fourth overall always felt rich for an off-the-ball linebacker. The third round feels more like the right spot. Golday played two years at Cincinnati. Last season, he had 104 tackles and 3.5 sacks.
Would you be happy with Golday at pick 66?
